Wood & Pellet Stove Service in Estacada and the Portland Metro

What stove service covers, what it costs, and how often a hard-working stove actually needs attention.

Wood and pellet stoves need their own kind of attention, and we bring specialized equipment for every heating appliance, from the glass to the cap. Sweeps start from $240, pellet stove service is $279 flat, and every price is confirmed before work starts.

Stoves are their own animal

A wood stove is not a fireplace, and it does not get serviced like one. Inserts change the access. Stovepipe configurations vary. Pellet appliances add their own service needs on top of the venting. That is why we run specialized equipment for every heating appliance, from the glass to the cap.

Sweeps for wood stove setups start from $240, with the exact number confirmed when you describe your setup. Pellet stove service is $279 flat. Either way, the price is set before work starts, and there are no surprise add-ons on the day.

Pellet stove service, $279 flat

Pellet stoves work hard through an Oregon winter, and they tell you when they need attention: lazy flames, more ash than usual, a stove that keeps shutting itself down. Regular service keeps the burn clean and the stove doing its job.

The $279 is flat, confirmed before the visit, and covers the service your pellet appliance needs with equipment built for it. If the visit turns up a part or repair beyond standard service, that gets quoted separately, never tacked on.

Inserts and installs

Beyond service, we handle wood and pellet stove inserts and installs. Putting an insert into an existing fireplace changes how the whole system vents, and the install has to account for that: the unit, the liner path, the cap, all of it working together.

Install work is quoted for your specific setup, because no two fireplaces vent the same way. You get the number before anyone commits to anything, and it is confirmed before work starts.

How often a stove needs it

Yearly, for wood-burning stoves that see regular use. Creosote builds with every burn, and creosote is the fuel in most chimney fires. A stove that heats the house all winter earns its sweep every single year, no exceptions worth making.

Not sure how yours stacks up? Call or text (503) 898-8856 and describe how you burn. You will get a straight answer, not a sales pitch. Military discounts are available, and weekend appointments can be booked when weekdays do not fit.

Common questions

FAQ

What does pellet stove service cost?

Pellet stove service is $279 flat, confirmed before any work starts. The visit covers the service your pellet appliance needs with equipment built for it, and there are no surprise add-ons when we show up. If something beyond standard service turns up, it gets quoted separately first.

Do you install wood stove inserts?

Yes. We handle inserts and installs alongside sweeps and service, with specialized equipment for every heating appliance. Install pricing depends on your fireplace, venting path, and the unit going in, so it gets quoted for your specific setup and confirmed before any work begins.

How often does a wood stove need sweeping?

Once a year for stoves that see regular use, same as a wood-burning fireplace. Creosote builds with every burn, and it is the fuel in most chimney fires. If your stove is the main heat source through winter, the yearly sweep is not optional. It is the maintenance that keeps it safe.

Will a stove sweep make a mess?

No. Stove work runs under the same no-mess guarantee as everything else: HEPA containment, floor-to-roofline protection around the work area, and shoe covers inside your home. The mess stays inside the system, and the room looks the same when we leave as it did when we arrived.
